January: Arena announced a mini-tour in Europe in April. This tour will have 8 dates in The Netherlands, Germany Switzerland, Italy, France and England. For more details CLICK HERE.

December: It was announced for 2008 an anniversary tour to celebrate Script For a Jester's Tear's 25th anniversary, with several European dates. This time Mick Pointer will have with him Nick Barrett (Pendragon) on guitars, Ian Salmon (Arena) on bass, Mike Varty (Credo) on keyboards and Brian Cummins (Genesis tribute band The Carpet Crawlers) on vocals. Besides the full album there will be also played "Charting The Single", "Three Boats Down From The Candy", "Market Square Heroes", "Grendel" and "Margaret".

January: Mick Pointer gathered some friends to recreate live Marillion's album "Script For A Jester's Tear" (the only Marillion album in which he took part). The concert happened at the Riff's Bar, in Hook near Swindon, England, and the band was formed by Nick Barrett (Pendragon) on guitars , Ian Salmon (Arena) on bass, Mike Varty (Credo) on keyboards and John Dexter Jones on vocals. The album was played from beginning to end in it's original track order. As for "Grendel" it was left out, despite the many requests by the audience.

November: Arena started to write their next album. According to the band there's no rush, just letting things go and see what happens..

October: Arena will release at the end of October the compilation CD "TEN YEARS ON". It's intended as an introduction to new fans, tough some rarities may interest those who've been following the band, like the Rob Sowden vocal performance of "Empire of a Thousand Days" from the album "Pride".

Abril: Arena released the DVD "SMOKE & MIRRORS", filmed in September 2005 at the Wyspianski Theatre in Katowice, Poland! It was a special setlist, celebrating the band's 10th anniversary. Old songs like "(Don't Forget To) Breathe", "The Hanging Tree", "Skin Game", "Witch Hunt" were played along with the new ones from "Pepper's Ghost".

September: Arena are touring "PEPPER'S GHOST". On October 16 they will celebrate the tenth anniversary of "The Visitor" with a special concert in Boerderij, Zoetermeer, Holanda. The concert will include songs from this album, as well as the participation of two guest musicians from "The Visitor" line-up: Paul Wrightson e John Jowitt.

April: Arena started the "PEPPER'S GHOST" tour on April 9, in theGouveia Art-Rock Festival. Ex-member John Jowitt replaced bassist Ian Salmon for this concert only.
