Competition - Promote "Happiness is

Marillion uploaded in Youtube their Electronic Press Kit
(EPK) introducing the new album " Happiness Is The
Road".

Early Stages - The official Bootlegs from
the 80's.
EMI is about to release a 6 discs Boxset, containing five
Marillion concerts, recorded between 1982 e 1987, recently
licenced by BBC, and never previously officially released.
The concerts are:
Live at the Mayfair, Glasgow - 13 September 1982
Live at the Marquee, London - 30 December 1982
Live at Reading Festival - 27 August 1983
Live at Hammersmith Odeon - 14 December 1984
Live at Wembley Arena - 5 November 1987
The release is scheduled for November 17, and the artwork
is by Mak Wilkinson.

"Naked In The Chapel" is Steve
Hogarth's newset live DVD, available in the end of August.
This DVD is the recording of the H Natural concert in
22 September 2007 at the Union Chapel in Islington, London.
The tracklist is: The Hollow Man / Three Minute Boy / House
/ Life on Mars / Beyond You / Afraid of Sunlight / A Collection
/ Cage / The Party / When I Meet God / No One Can / War Baby
/ Man of the World / Maybe I'm Amazed / In the Ghetto / Famous
Blue Raincoat / Cover My Eyes / Fantastic Place. As extras
it includes some Steve Hogarth diary readings such as: God
Bless America; Air Rage; One Hot Ohio Night; The Prisoner
of Poznan
O DVD will be available in the coming H Natural concerts of
August and September, and can also be ordered online through
Racket
Records.

Marillion's participation in the "Lisbon
Calling" festival is documented HERE.
The festival took place on the 26th of July in Pavilhão
Atlântico, Lisbon, and besides Marillion it included
the bands: The Stranglers, B52's e Meat Loaf.
Marillion were the opening act performing a short set with
the songs: You're Gone / The Other Half / Beautiful / Easter
/ Afraid Of Sunlight / No One Can / Cover My Eyes / King /
Neverland.

News about Marillion Weekend 2009.
Marillion announced that the first evening of the Marillion
Weekend 2009 (March 20-23, 2009 in The Netherlands, and April
3-5, 2009 in Canada) will consist of the full performance
of the Seasons End album, thus celebrating its twentieth
anniversary.
It was also announced that on that night, after the concert,
there will take place two separate disco-nights. On one side
there will be the rock-night, with DJ Lucy Jordache; on the
other the prog-night, with DJ Stephanie Bradley.

The newest FANZINE was already shipped
to the Web Portugal subscribers.
Issue 5 of our fanzine (first of 2008) cover Marillion's
activities since the final part of 2008 up to now, especially
the "Snow-where Else Tour" concerts, and several
interviews and articles regarding the new album.

Book your seated place on Steve Hogarths
Lisbon concert, in Santiago Alquimista.
In Santiago Alquimista not all places are seated, for
that The Web Portugal offers its subscribers the chance to
book seated places, if they pay the tickets until August 1st.
Steve Hogarth will be in Portugal for two concerts, exclusively
organized by The Web Portugal, on the 30th of August (Praia
de Mira) and on the 5th of September (Lisboa).

The cover of the new album "Happiness
On The Road" was finally revealed.
The cover was designed by the Spanish artist Antonio Seijas,
but it's not known yet if it will be common to both separate
editions "Essence" and "The Hard Shoulder".

New merchandise at Racket Records.
First there were the "band member t-shirt signature
series", including t-shirts designed for each Marillion
member.
Now there are the new mugs, with the same designs.
They are the newest releases of the Racket Shop. For more

The Web Portugal releases new merchandise
articles.
We already had exclusive t-shirts (two old models in the
past, and now a third one), now we have also pins, keyrings,
ballpoint pens and cd pockets.
All articles sport out logo and include original designing.

either online or in events where The Web Portugal is present.

The Happiness On The Road Tour was
announced.
The tour supporting the new album "Happiness Is
The Road" will start in November, and it will be
split into two halves, the first takes place in the
end of 2008, and the second in the beginning of 2009.
Unfortunately this tour has no scheduled concerts for
Portugal.
